Frequently asked questions

Practical answers about contacting the firm, arranging a consultation and using this website.

Getting started

Am I contacting a law firm?

Yes. MyLegalLine is the legal services brand of District Law Group LLP. Your consultation request goes to the firm’s team.

Meet the firm
What can the firm help with?

Our practice covers car accidents, personal injury, medical malpractice, employment matters for employees, real estate and estate planning. Tell us what you need help with so the team can consider whether the firm can assist.

See our practice areas
What should I share in my first request?

Share your name, a phone number, the location connected to your matter and a brief overview. You do not need a complete document file to begin; leave sensitive records and identification numbers out. If you are unsure which practice to choose, call or email the firm.

Prepare for a consultation
What happens after I contact the firm?

The team reviews your request to consider whether the firm can help and what information is needed. Any consultation, proposed work and fees need to be discussed with the firm. Sending a request does not reserve an appointment.

Fees and representation

Is there a charge for the consultation?

Ask the firm when arranging your consultation. Confirm any charge and what the consultation will cover before it takes place.

How will fees and case expenses be handled?

Ask about both the charge for legal work and any separate case expenses before agreeing to representation. If a fee linked to a recovery is proposed, ask how it is calculated and which expenses, if any, you would owe without a recovery. The arrangement for your matter must be confirmed with the firm.

Does a request mean the firm has accepted my matter?

No. A form submission or AI conversation is not confirmation that the firm has agreed to represent you. The firm needs to review the matter and agree the proposed work and fees with you.

Read the Terms of Use
What if I already have a lawyer?

Speak with your current lawyer about questions concerning your existing matter. If you contact this firm, explain that you already have representation. Do not paste confidential case details or communications with your lawyer into the AI chat.

Visits, language and urgent questions

Where does the firm serve clients?

The firm lists offices in Washington, D.C., and in Miami, Aventura and Hallandale Beach, Florida. Tell us the state and location connected to your matter. When discussing representation, confirm with the firm who would handle your matter and their authorization to practice in the relevant jurisdiction.

View office addresses
Can I visit an office without an appointment?

Office visits are by appointment only. Call (844) 955-5463 or use the email address on our Contact page to arrange your visit before coming to the office.

Contact the firm
Can I have a consultation in my preferred language?

This website is available in English, Spanish, French and Russian. Website translations do not confirm that a consultation is available in each language. Ask the team about your preferred language when arranging the consultation.

What if my matter is urgent or a deadline is approaching?

Sending a website request or using the chat does not pause legal deadlines or file documents with a court or agency. Contact a lawyer promptly about an urgent matter rather than waiting for a website response. This website cannot determine the deadline that applies to your circumstances.

Website and AI

Am I speaking with a lawyer in the AI chat?

No. This assistant is an AI program, not a lawyer or firm employee. It provides general information about the firm and may make mistakes. Use it for service and contact questions, not legal advice or an assessment of your case.

Does chatting submit a consultation request?

No. Chat messages are not automatically sent to the firm as a consultation request. Use the contact form, call (844) 955-5463 or use the email address on our Contact page when you want to contact the team.

How are my form and chat messages handled?

When direct website delivery is enabled, form requests pass through n8n for delivery to the firm’s email. Free-form AI questions and up to six recent chat messages are processed by Vercel and Cloudflare Workers AI. Keep sensitive records and identification numbers out of both; see the Privacy Policy for details.

Read the Privacy Policy
How do I know whether my request was sent?

Read the form’s status message after sending. A success confirms email submission, not that a lawyer has read or accepted your matter; an error or timeout does not confirm receipt. If the form opens an email draft, you must send it yourself. If you are unsure, call or email the firm.

AI assistant

Hi, I’m MyLegalLine’s AI assistant. Ask me about our services, offices or how to get started.

AI processes your messages and recent history and may make mistakes. Do not share confidential details. No legal advice; chatting alone does not create an attorney-client relationship. Privacy
